How to register a new domain
The domain is registered in your own name, on your own account — Osite only helps with the process.
Why in my own name? This way you permanently own your domain, no matter what happens with any service provider you hire — including Osite. It's the safest way to do this.

You can use any reputable registrar — GoDaddy and Namecheap are the most common.

Want a Brazilian .com.br domain?
This must be done directly at registro.br, the only official registrar for Brazilian domains. You create a free account with a CPF or CNPJ and register in a few minutes.

Step by step
- Search for the domain name you want (e.g., yourbusiness.com) on your chosen registrar's site;
- If it's available, complete the purchase with your own details (email, phone, payment);
- Once the registration is confirmed, the domain is yours — you get access to a dashboard to manage it;
- Now just point the DNS to Osite — see the tutorial on pointing your domain;
- Let us know once it's done so we can confirm activation of your site on that domain.
